Umesh, the prime accused in the murder of one Kiran — a case reported on Sunday — sustained a bullet injury to his left leg and is undergoing treatment at McGann Hospital here. Tunga Nagara police station Inspector K.T. Gururaj fired at him after multiple warnings and a round of warning fire in the air, the police said.
