PALGHAR: Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) Palghar city chief Rahul Gharat, the main accused in the alleged ruckus and assault at a private hospital in Palghar, was arrested on Monday after he surrendered before the police.The incident took place at Relief Hospital in Palghar on Saturday night when five injured Govindas, who had sustained injuries during Dahi Handi celebrations, were admitted for treatment. Three of them were kept in the intensive care unit (ICU).The injured Govindas had alleged that the hospital was forcing them to undergo CT scans and was trying to charge them excessive amounts. Following the allegations, Shiv Sena office-bearers and workers entered the hospital late at night and allegedly created a ruckus.
