THE government has formed a Minister’s Delivery Team (MDT) to conduct daily monitoring of stalled projects under the Tanzania Cities Transforming Infrastructure and Competitiveness (TACTIC) Programme.
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office–Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO–RALG), Prof Riziki Shemdoe, said the team would ensure that stalled projects are completed on time and start providing the intended services to the public.
Prof Shemdoe issued the directive on October 3, 2026, during a working session involving Directors of Local Government Authorities implementing TACTIC projects, contractors, consulting engineers, TARURA regional and district managers and TACTIC project coordinators.
