Shelbourne are through to their fifth Club Orange Women's FAI Cup final in six seasons following a 6-0 victory over Cork City at Turner’s Cross Stadium.
Sean Russell’s side are now in pursuit of their second trophy of the season, after lifting the Avenir Sports All-Island Cup during the summer, while fighting for the Women’s Premier Division title.
Their treble chase was helped by a near perfect performance against a Cork City side stuck to the bottom of the table and desperate to avoid a second successive year in the basement.
The Reds needed just six minutes to take the lead, with their first goal coming from an Alex Kavanagh penalty after a Maeve Wollmer cross hit Ciara O’Driscoll’s hand inside the area.
City tried going long in a bid to get back in the game, but nothing got through a back-line marshalled by Pearl Slattery.
