Sheela Reddy takes over as in-charge V-C of CUAP

Professor C. Sheela Reddy has been appointed as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh. She brings extensive academic and administrative experience, including previous roles at the University of Delhi and the Indian Institute of Public Administration.

C. Sheela Reddy, senior-most professor in the Department of Political Science, took charge as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP), Anantapur, following the completion of the term of S.A. Kori on August 20.
Prof. Sheela Reddy was earlier the Dean (Academics) at CUAP. Before joining the university, she was Principal of Sri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi. She received the Best Employee Medal from the college trust, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), in recognition of her services as Principal on the occasion of Republic Day in 2023.
