Shay Given ties the knot to longtime love Rebecca Gibson

Former Republic of Ireland football star Shay Given has tied the knot to his fiancée Rebecca Gibson after 13 years together.

The couple met in 2013, the same year Shay announced his divorce from his first wife, Jane Cunningham after 12 years of marriage.

After two years dating, Shay proposed to Becky while on a trip to Los Angeles and now 13 years later, they said their 'I do's' at Westminster Abbey on Saturday.

Captioning a series of pictures of their big day, they wrote on social media: '10.10.26 💍⛪️ Westminster Abbey'

Shay looked dashing in a black velvet tuxedo, while Becky stunned guests in an A-line white bridal gown overlaid with delicate lace patterns and sequins. She wore a sheer floor-length tulle veil while carrying a tight bouquet of all-white roses.
