Sharjeel Memon accuses MQM-P of fuelling linguistic divisions in Sindh

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has accused the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of attempting to revive the politics of the 1990s and create divisions along linguistic lines in the province.

In a statement issued in response to a press conference by MQM-P leaders, Sharjeel Memon described the language used by the party leadership as "intolerable" and alleged that it was seeking to create unrest in Sindh.

He specifically criticised MQM-P chairman Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and senior leader Mustafa Kamal, claiming that the two were pursuing a political course reminiscent of the 1990s.
