SFI, KSU claim victory in union elections at polytechnic colleges in Ernakulam

The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and the Kerala Students’ Union claimed impressive performance in union elections held at five polytechnic colleges in Ernakulam on Friday (September 18, 2026).

The SFI claimed that it had won at Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery; Government Polytechnic College, Kothamangalam; Government Polytechnic College, Perumbavoor; and Jai Bharath Polytechnic College, Perumbavoor.

The KSU claimed that it had won the election held at Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kalamassery, and bagged the chairperson post at Government Polytechnic College, Kothamangalam.
