Several Feared Dead After Matatu, Car Collide on Mombasa Road

A head-on collision between a matatu and a saloon car on Mombasa Road has resulted in multiple fatalities. Emergency teams are currently responding to the scene, and police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.

Some reports indicate that at least eight people died in the accident, which occurred between Quiver Mombasa Road and Katani and involved a PSV matatu and a saloon car.
Videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke showed the matatu, which has a capacity of 18 passengers, badly wrecked after what appeared to be a head-on collision.
Both the matatu and the black saloon car landed in a ditch after the collision.
