Seventh high-level meeting held between Indian and Vietnam Coast Guards
The Indian Coast Guard and the Vietnam Coast Guard held their seventh high-level meeting in Chennai to discuss maritime security and professional cooperation. The visit also included a courtesy call on the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

The seventh round of the high-level meeting between the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and its Vietnamese counterpart was held in Chennai on Tuesday. Major General Luong Dinh Hung, Vice-Commandant, Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG), called on Director-General of ICG Paramesh Sivamani during the ongoing visit of the VCG delegation to the city. The meeting focused on enhancing professional cooperation, strengthening maritime engagement, and deepening operational coordination between the ICG and the VCG. Mr. Sivamani also visited Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at Fort St. George on Tuesday.
