In a tragic incident, a seven-year-old boy studying in second standard in a private school was allegedly run over by a private college bus near his house and he died on the spot on Friday.
Police said that Radhakrishnan (40), a plumber, lived in Pachamadam, Thideer Nagar on the Rajapalayam-Tenkasi Road.
His son, Rohith (7) left home at around 8 a.m. to go to school. As he was walking on the road, the private college bus hit the child and he fell. In the next few seconds, the boy came under the wheel of the bus and died on the spot.
