Seven cows were allegedly stolen from a cattle shed near Parappana Agrahara on the night of August 19, according to a complaint filed at the Parappana Agrahara Police Station on August 20.
The complainant, N. Jitendra Yadav, is engaged in rearing cows and selling milk. He had constructed a shed near his house, where he usually kept his cattle.
According to the complaint, heavy rain on August 19 caused water to enter the shed. Around 8 p.m., Yadav moved the cows outside the shed and tied them in an open area before going to sleep inside the shed.
