‘Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan’ to be launched on PM’s birthday, says Joshi
Union Minister for Education, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Pralhad Joshi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would launch a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ on September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, to mark his 25 years in public life. He appealed to the people to actively participate in the campaign.
Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Tuesday, Mr. Joshi said the campaign would seek ideas and suggestions from the public for making India a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
Terming Mr. Modi’s completion of 25 years as the head of government a record in itself, he said that through continuous, sustained, and tireless effort and hard work, Mr. Modi had not only won elections himself but had also ensured victories for the party, first as Chief Minister and later as Prime Minister.
