Sergio Gor makes rare appearance at event hosted by Chinese envoy

NEW DELHI: US ambassador to India Sergio Gor made a rare appearance at a Chinese event here on Wednesday, as White House rolled out a red carpet for President Xi Jinping for a potentially landmark visit.Gor joined Chinese ambassador Xu Feihong for a reception hosted by the latter at a 5-star hotel to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China. India's commerce secretary, Rajesh Aggarwal, was the chief guest.
