MELAKA: A senior medical officer at a public hospital here has been remanded for five days for allegedly abusing his position in the procurement of knee implants worth about RM1.5mil.
The remand order against the suspect, who is in his 50s, was issued by Magistrate Sharda Shienha Mohd Suleiman following an application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at the Ayer Keroh Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday (Sept 8).
