Queensland Premier David Crisafulli made the announcement on Tuesday morning, noting that King Charles had given his approval for Bradley to be appointed as the state’s 28th governor.
Queensland Court of Appeal judge Justice Thomas Bradley will be appointed Queensland’s new govenor. Matt Dennien Bradley said he looked forward to meeting and advocating for a diverse range of Queenslanders in the role, which he saw as a “tremendous honour”.
