Senator Alex Antic wins SA Liberal presidency

Senator Alex Antic has defeated SA Upper House leader Nicola Centofanti for the state Liberal presidency in a ballot of party delegates.

The internal role is roughly equivalent to chair of a company board, overseeing campaign preparations and setting meeting agendas.

Senator Antic, who replaces fellow senator Leah Blyth as state president, has previously vowed to give party members a bigger say on policy.
