Senate Demands Answers From IG Kanja Over Governor Guyo’s Failed Arrest

IG Kanja was supposed to appear before it on Monday, September 7, to explain why the Governor had not yet been arrested.
However, Kanja failed to appear at the Senate, sending a letter stating that he was scheduled to travel to China and therefore could not attend.
According to Kanja, he had formed a special team to arrest the Governor and present him before the Committee, but the Governor reportedly received intelligence and evaded arrest.
