Self-enumeration for Census 2027 to begin in Erode Corporation on July 17
Erode Corporation has announced that the self-enumeration phase for the 2027 Census will take place from July 17 to July 31. Residents can submit household data online before the door-to-door verification begins in August.

The self-enumeration phase of the Census of India 2027 will begin in Erode Corporation on July 17 and continue till July 31, the Corporation Commissioner and Principal Census Officer Arpit Jain has said.
Mr. Jain said the exercise will cover all four zones of the Corporation. Residents can voluntarily furnish their household details through the Census self-enumeration portal by registering with a mobile number. Only one mobile number should be used for each family.
After completing the 34-question schedule, a 12-digit reference number will be sent to the registered mobile number through SMS. The reference number should be produced before the enumerator during the house-to-house enumeration.
