Self-enumeration awareness campaign rally in Krishnagiri

Krishnagiri district officials held an awareness rally to encourage residents to participate in the Census 2027 self-enumeration process. The initiative aims to simplify data collection by allowing heads of families to submit information through an online portal.

The rally was flagged off from Krishnagiri Government Arts College for women and over 500 students from schools and colleges took part. The rally wound through Rayakottai underbridge, and Krishnagiri municipality before concluding at the college campus.
According to the administration, the focus is to increase the number of self-enumerations to facilitate the Census process. A series of awareness campaigns is being planned to help residents opt for self-enumeration.
