Sedna has partnered with PortPal to integrate port call management into its email platform, allowing port agencies to convert operational emails into structured workflows using AI.
The integration connects Sedna’s email platform with PortPal’s port agency software, enabling users to tag incoming emails with a PortPal job reference before transferring emails or selected attachments into the corresponding port call.
The AI then extracts operational information from emails covering activities such as crew changes, bunkering, cash-to-master (CTM) transactions, spare deliveries and other service requests, reducing the need for manual data entry.
Shared metadata enables Sedna to automatically identify and tag incoming communications, while bidirectional links allow users to move between the original email and the associated PortPal workflow. Emails generated in PortPal can also be returned to the existing Sedna conversation as drafts or ready-to-send messages.
