Security stepped up in Thanjavur and Tiruvarur for Vice-President’s visit
Security has been significantly increased in the Thanjavur and Tiruvarur districts of Tamil Nadu for the upcoming visit of Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan. The official will attend a university convocation and a jubilee celebration during his trip.
Thanjavur and Tiruvarur are to be brought under enhanced security cover in connection with Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan’s visit to the two districts on Monday. The Vice-President will attend the 11th Convocation of the Central University of Tamil Nadu in Tiruvarur at first and participate in the Ruby and Silver Jubilee valedictory celebrations of SASTRA Deemed University in Thanjavur.
