In a statement, the police said that the restrictions will remain in force from August 27 to September 26 in Kalyandurg, Anantapur Rural, and Tadipatri sub-divisions.
During the period, political parties, public organisations, and other groups have been directed not to organise dharnas, rallies, public meetings, gatherings or programmes involving loudspeakers without prior police permission. The order also covers designated protest spaces and other forms of demonstrations.
