Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the government was implementing, in phases, the 12 measures announced by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in the Legislative Assembly to address long-pending land issues under Section 22-A of the Registration Act.

Government Orders (GOs) 118 and 76 had already been issued for regularisation of houses in colonies and house sites in the Singareni region respectively, he said.

Mr. Srinivas Reddy, along with Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin and others distributed regularisation certificates to beneficiaries from 44 colonies of the LB Nagar constituency at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium.

He said the government had resolved the issues concerning 44 of the 64 colonies in the constituency in accordance with the Chief Minister’s directions. The government had issued clear instructions to District Collectors to address the problems irrespective of the political affiliation of the representatives in the area, he said.
