NEW DELHI: The full Election Commission - comprising CEC Gyanesh Kumar and ECs S S Sandhu and Vivek Joshi - met Wednesday, a second time in five days, and decided to extend the deadlines for the ongoing SIR exercise in Andhra Pradesh and Meghalaya, reports Bharti Jain.The revised period for disposal of claims and objections in Andhra will now run from July 31 to Oct 10. The date for publication of the final poll roll also stands extended to Oct 16.
