Seattle shooting: 3 killed, 5 injured near iconic Space Needle

At least three people were killed and at least five others were injured in a shooting near Seattle's Space Needle on Sunday night, the Seattle Fire Department said, according to CBS News. The fire department said two people were pronounced dead at the scene after life-saving efforts failed. Of the five others treated, a 56-year-old woman was taken to hospital in serious condition. Three more victims, including a 2-year-old boy, were taken to hospital in stable condition, while a fifth victim had minor injuries and chose not to go to hospital.
