Sealing drive imminent, PG at Satya Niketanasks all 40 female occupants to move out
Following a building collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan, authorities have initiated a sealing drive against unauthorized structures, forcing students to vacate their PG accommodations. Many students are now facing housing instability and financial loss while struggling to balance their academic commitments.

A women’s PG facility in Satya Niketan, located 300 metres from the five-storey structure that collapsed the previous day, on Monday asked all occupants to vacate their rooms immediately.
A student said they were told that the hostel could be sealed any time and that the facility would operate only as long as supplies last.
Of the estimated 40 occupants, only 22 currently remain in the facility. The rest left for their hometowns soon after the incident, said a student.
“My parents just left after helping me with the admission and lodging. They are now worried and want to take me away. But it will take them two days to arrive by train. What will I do until then?” said Himanshi Aggarwal, who hails from Assam.
