Scorpion Kings: Fallen stars come alive!

Some of the country’s beloved fallen music stars appeared to come alive on the big screen.

The packed FNB Stadium erupted as AI-generated videos of AKA, Mpura, Killer Kau and Costa Titch were shown smiling, almost as if they were still with us.

In one touching video, the four stars sat together around a table, smiling as though they had gathered for one last catch-up.

As each video appeared, fans could be heard cheering loudly for the artists whose music continues to live on.

The tribute brought back painful memories of the sudden deaths that shocked the entertainment industry.

Kiernan “AKA” Jarryd Forbes passed away at the age of 35 in February 2023.
