South Coast Railway (SCoR) hosted a high-level vigilance seminar at its headquarters hereon Thursday, focusing on systemic transparency and ethical accountability within public service.
Chaired by SCoR General Manager Sandeep Mathur and coordinated by Senior Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer Ashish Mehrothra, the session brought together principal department heads, divisional railway managers, and senior zone officials.
Addressing the gathering, Mathur noted that administrative awareness remains the primary bulwark against corruption. He commended the vigilance wing for functioning as an institutional counselor, guiding personnel to navigate complex procedures and avert unintentional procedural lapses.
The discussions centered on Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) frameworks designed to streamline public accountability. Mehrothra urged staff to champion a self-reliant ethical culture, emphasizing personal and professional integrity across all operational tiers.
