RANGIA: A woman was found dead with injury marks on her throat in a hotel near Rangia railway station in Assam’s Kamrup district on Sunday, a police officer said.A man who had booked the hotel room and was found inside with the woman’s body was arrested on murder charges, a police officer told news agency PTI.The victim was identified from her Aadhaar card as Malini Guria, a resident of Asurmarigaon village in Sonitpur district, the officer said.According to hotel owner Dhrubajyoti Saloi, the accused, Avijit Kindo, had booked two rooms at the hotel on Saturday evening, saying three of his friends would stay in one room while he would stay in the other.On Sunday morning, two women staying in one of the rooms were preparing to leave when they told the hotel staff that their friend in the other room was not responding to their calls, although a man was…
