Interacting with senior officials of Jipmer during his visit to the campus on Tuesday, the Minister said compassion was an essential foundation of healthcare and the spirit of care should extend beyond human beings to encompass all living creatures.
The Minister paid a visit to Jipmer when he was in Puducherry for participating in official programmes of the Fisheries Department. While on the campus, the Minister visited the Central Animal House Facility situated inside the Centre for Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Jipmer, the institute said in a release.
