Schoolteachers’ union to take out protest march in Keralam

Schoolteachers under the banner of the Kerala School Teachers Association (KSTA) will take out marches to the Secretariat and the collectorates across the State on Saturday, protesting against the State and Union government policies.

KSTA officials said here on Thursday that they wanted reversal of the State’s educational policies that completely align with the ‘communal policies’ of the BJP-led Union government. Among the other demands are job protection for teachers, pay revision, and withdrawal of the National Education Policy 2020.
