A popular early 2000s rock band's tour bus was involved in a deadly crash on I-26 Friday morning. Buckcherry, formed in 1995, surged into the mainstream with the release of their 2005 album "15." The band released a social media statement on Saturday announcing all band members and touring crew were uninjured in the crash. The crash happened at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday morning, Aug. 21, at mile marker 31, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation. The crash prompted officials to shut down all eastbound lanes for several hours. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a pedestrian had previously been involved in a crash in the area.
