The Philippine Senate has recognized SB19 after the P-Pop group became the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Senators adopted Senate Resolution 545 on Sept. 28, commending the group for its achievements and contribution to the Philippine creative industries.
SB19 members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken and Justin attended the plenary session.
Sen. Bam Aquino, who filed and sponsored the resolution, cited the group's international milestones as examples of what Filipino artists can achieve on the global stage.
