A Division Bench of Justices A.D. Jagadish Chandira and B. Murugesan was hearing a petition filed by R. Vidhya, wife of Raghu Ganesh, who sought grant of emergency leave for her husband to attend the last rites of his father G. Paramasivam.
The convict prisoner’s father passed away on August 22, and the cremation is to be held on August 25 at Kalakad in Tirunelveli district. The court granted emergency leave to the convict prisoner on August 25 and 26.
