MIRI, Sept 11 — The cause of death for all five victims of the Long Lellang helicopter crash on Tuesday was severe burn injuries, said Sarawak police commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah.

When contacted by The Borneo Post, Mohamad Zainal said the post-mortem examinations on the five victims at Miri Hospital began on Thursday morning.

“Post-mortem completed at 7.30pm. (Cause of death) Severe burn injuries due to helicopter crash,” he said.
