Sara, Go top choices for 2028 president, VP

MANILA, Philippines - Vice President Sara Duterte and Sen. Bong Go emerged as the most preferred candidates for president and vice president, respectively, in the latest 2028 pre-election survey conducted by Pulse Asia.
The survey, conducted from June 28 to July 6, found that 49 percent of the respondents would vote for Duterte from among the list of potential candidates for president.
Her closest rivals were Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo and Sen. Raffy Tulfo, who received the support of 26 percent and 14 percent of the respondents, respectively.
The three other individuals in the list provided to respondents - Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon, Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority general manager Nicolas Torre - obtained the support of one percent or less.
Ten percent said they do not know or refused to answer, while the remaining respondents supplied other names.
