Sapling plantation drive launched at Teppakulam
Tiruchi officials have launched a sapling plantation drive near the Rockfort as part of a larger urban beautification project. The initiative, sponsored by a local textile showroom, aims to enhance the area with 200 tabebuia rosea trees.

An initiative to plant 200 saplings of tabebuia rosea around the Teppakulam near the base of the Rockfort was inaugurated by Mayor M. Anbazhagan and Tiruchi District Collector Pratik Tayal on Monday.
According to an official press release, the saplings, 10-foot tall, were sponsored by Saratha’s, a prominent textile showroom in Tiruchi.
