Samsung on Thursday (October 1, 2026) launched the Galaxy A08 in India. It caters to mid-segment buyers and comes loaded with AI capabilities along with up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Galaxy A08 has a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It claims a Gorilla Glass 5 screen and a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back for durability. The phone is IP64 rated as well for dust and splashes.
Galaxy A08 ships with a 6,000 mAh battery, and supports 25W charging. The device also supports AI agents such as Gemini and Perplexity, which can be accessed via voice commands or by long-pressing the power button.
