Samsung has officially confirmed the Galaxy Ring 2 is in active development, but two years after the original Galaxy Ring launched, consumers are still waiting. The Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to launch in early 2027 , most likely alongside the Galaxy S27 series at a winter Galaxy Unpacked event.
Samsung did not announce the Ring 2 at Galaxy Unpacked 2026 on July 22 . Instead, TM Roh, President of Samsung’s MX Division, confirmed the device’s existence at a post-event press briefing. He said the company has “identified consumer and market demand” and is conducting “advanced development” to address those needs. However, he stressed that completeness matters more than hitting a fixed release cycle.
