Sam Varghese is new DCP (Law and Order) of Mangaluru

Sam Varghese, a 2022-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) for the Mangaluru Police Commissionerate. He replaces H.N. Mithun, who has been transferred to Gadag.

Mr. Varghese is among the officers transferred by the State government on Monday. He was working as Superintendent of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, in Bengaluru. The 36-year-old officer is a native of Kottayam in Keralam and is a BCom (Honours) graduate.
