Sakambari Utsavams conclude with Maha Poornahuti at Kanaka Durga temple
The three-day Sakambari Utsavams at the Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada concluded with traditional Vedic rituals. The festival, which drew 2.5 lakh devotees, featured elaborate decorations using 45 tonnes of produce.

The three-day Sakambari Utsavams at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri concluded on Wednesday with Maha Poornahuti on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, marking the culmination of elaborate Vedic rituals that drew an estimated 2.5 lakh devotees.

On the concluding day, devotees had darshan of Goddess Sri Kanaka Durga in the Sakambari Devi avatar. The deity was adorned with an array of fruits, leafy greens, vegetables and dry fruits, transforming the sanctum and temple premises into a vibrant display of devotion.
The concluding rituals, including Maha Poornahuti, Kalasodvasana, Marjanam and Prokshanam, were performed under the guidance of temple Sthanacharya V. Shivaprasad Sharma, members of the Vedic Committee, Vedic scholars and temple priests.
