Sainik School Amaravathinagar conducts oral health screening for students
Sainik School Amaravathinagar hosted a large-scale oral health screening drive for over 700 students. The event was a collaborative effort involving the Indian Dental Association, the Narcotics Control Bureau, and various corporate partners to promote preventive dental care.

Sainik School Amaravathinagar participated in the Tamil Nadu Statewide Oral Health Screening Drive 2026, organised together by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Indian Dental Association (IDA), with support from Colgate-Palmolive and Vimi Magic.
As part of the initiative, a comprehensive oral health screening and awareness camp was conducted at the school on August 19. A total of 705 students from Classes 6 to 12 underwent oral health screening.
The screening was carried out by 20 dentists, ensuring that all participating students received professional oral health assessment and guidance. The class-wise participation included 115 students from Class 6, 88 from Class 7, 108 from Class 8, 114 from Class 9, 90 from Class 10, 81 from Class 11 and 109 from Class 12.
