The family of a 20-year-old mechanic is demanding answers following his death while on duty at Modern Automobile, a vehicle assembly facility situated within MMP Industrial Park in Buwampa Village, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District.
Sadam Mugwere reportedly died while servicing a vehicle at the assembly plant. His death has sparked outrage and concern among relatives and co-workers, who are questioning the circumstances surrounding the incident and whether standard workplace safety protocols were in place. Francis Baganzi, the Corporate Affairs Manager at MMP Park, confirmed the incident, stating that the company had initiated discussions with Mugwere's family and provided Shs4 million to cover immediate burial expenses.
