Sachin wants to do well for TN in all three formats
Young cricketer B. Sachin is aiming to establish himself across all three formats for the Tamil Nadu state team after a successful run in the TNCA First Division League and TNPL. He credits his recent performance to improved technique and a positive mindset.

B. Sachin has been in a rich vein of form this season. The left-hander is the leading run-scorer in the TNCA First Division League so far and has followed that up with two consecutive half-centuries for Vida Kovai Kings in the TNPL.
Speaking over the phone on Sunday, the 22-year-old said he “gained a lot of confidence” from his strong run for Sea Hawks coming into the TNPL.
Sachin made his debut in the Ranji Trophy in 2024 and scored two fifties in five innings last season, underlining his red-ball credentials. But he is keen to make a big impression in T20 cricket, too. “I want to play in all three formats for Tamil Nadu. That’s my goal. I want to do well for Tamil Nadu,” he said.
