Speaking in Kapsengere, Nandi county, during a Sunday service, Mudavadi criticised politicians who have insinuated that President William Ruto will secure a second term by hook or crook, including through rigging.
“His Excellency William Ruto will not get victory through shortcuts. He's not looking for shortcuts, let us not try to invent shortcuts for him,” he said.
Mudavadi said Kenya's democracy could only endure if elections were free, fair and credible and conducted without external interference.
