Ruto’s Kajiado tour: Roads, markets and power projects on the list

President William Ruto will tour Kajiado County on Thursday, September 3, 2026, where he is scheduled to inspect several infrastructure and development projects across the county.
Ruto’s itinerary begins in Rombo, Kajiado South, where he will inspect the Rombo-Taveta Road. He will also visit the Rombo Modern Market before touring the Rombo Irrigation Project.
The President will then proceed to Loitoktok, where he is scheduled to inspect an Affordable Housing Project and KMTC Students' Hostels.
He will also inspect the Sultan Hamud-Loitoktok Electricity Project as part of his programme in the area.
In nearby Kimana, Ruto is scheduled to inspect the Kimana Modern Market.
The President’s itinerary will then take him to Namanga in Kajiado Central. He will visit the Namanga Modern Market and inspect the Namanga-Isinya Electricity Project.
