Ruto, CSs fill key State agencies and boards with new appointments

President William Ruto has appointed seven members to the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee, as Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and several Cabinet secretaries moved to fill positions in key State agencies and boards.
The appointments, contained in the latest Kenya Gazette published Friday, September 11, include changes at the National Cybersecurity Agency, Kenya National Innovation Agency, universities, water agencies, the Coffee Board of Kenya and Kenya Electricity Transmission Company.
Ruto appointed Wilson Thuita, Silvya Apaa, Ahmed Bishar, Pascalyne Ntang’enoi, Ken Riaga, Evalyn Aruasa and Mary Kilobi to the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee for a six-year term.
The President said the appointments were made under the Intergovernmental Relations Act.
The Gazette notice states that Ruto, “in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(2) (b) of the Intergovernmental Relations Act”, appointed the seven members.
