Russian strikes on Kyiv kills 3 as Ukraine targets oil, military sites

Russian strikes killed three people in Kyiv, including one person in an attack on a building housing the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, while Ukraine targeted Russian oil, military and railway infrastructure in overnight attacks that continued until Monday morning.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X that Ukraine struck two defence plants in Russia’s Tula and Voronezh regions, as well as oil facilities in the Krasnodar region.The attacks also targeted drone facilities in Kaluga and Oryol, which Zelenskyy said were used for "drone terror against Ukraine". A target in the Black Sea was also hit, he added.Ukraine also attacked railway infrastructure in Russia’s border region of Bryansk on Monday.
