The strikes come a day after 20 people were killed on both sides of the frontline, with both Kyiv and Moscow intensifying attacks while diplomacy to end the war — launched by Russia in 2022 — is at a deadlock.
Kyiv said Moscow attacked a supermarket in the northern city of Chernigiv.
"As a result of the strike, two people were killed, including a 10-year-old child," the head of the city Dmytro Bryzhynsky said on social media
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 13 people were wounded in what he called a "deeply cynical drone strike on an ordinary supermarket."
